Learn the tools you'll need in the real world
The AI-Fueled Entrepreneurial Business Club at City is a space for business and entrepreneurial students at San Diego City College to get hands-on with the tools they'll need after graduation, so the step from school to work feels smaller.
Who we are

Our goal is to help you pick up the tools and know-how you'll need in the real world, so the jump from graduating to working is smaller. AI is one of the tools we use, alongside everything else you'll be expected to be handy with, to learn faster and get more done.

How our members use AI in their daily lives
We asked our members how they use AI in their daily lives, and these are their answers.
For school I use AI to run different scenarios on concepts or strategies I recently learned or in the process of learning. While doing this I make sure to compare all answers with text to keep the data trustworthy. At work, I use AI to generate strategies, compute statistical or financial data, connect logistical software and to use dashboards and artifacts that give me the ability to visualize the workflow.
Guillermo A Gonzalez, PresidentI use AI for a multitude of things. One way I use it is by creating applications and different solo entrepreneurial ventures . In the past having ideas limited you if you didn't code . "Vibe coding" Is a spectrum , you can use " Press and go " app builders such as lovable, bolt, replit etc or you can utilize a more dynamic/ flexible work flows that provide greater control, customization, and technical depth. I often think their would have been no Wozniak if Jobs had access to coding in the sense we have it today . Except for maybe mechanical things.
Khaled Hassan, Vice PresidentI use AI to help me better understand learning material to make it easier for my brain to remember. I also use AI to put together flash cards and active quizzes to test my knowledge. Sometimes I use it to do fun things like turn me into characters from movies and animations. Education, work or even fun trends. AI is personalized to me and understands what I struggle with, and puts things in a simple way, in my communication style.
Kaupali Reyes, ICC RepresentativeI use AI in many different ways, especially for school, business, and personal projects. For school, I have used AI to help me build a free, offline SAT and ACT practice website and tutor for myself, where I can continuously practice questions and get explanations when I need help. I also use AI to help manage my classes and academic planning, making sure I understand and complete all of the course and credit requirements needed to reach my educational goals. I have also used AI to help spearhead and organize my college application process by researching schools, drafting and tracking emails with colleges, keeping track of responses, and figuring out the next steps I need to take with each school. Beyond school, I use AI to research topics, brainstorm ideas, organize information, automate repetitive tasks, and build technology and business projects. Overall, I use AI as a tool to help me learn, stay organized, work more efficiently, and turn ideas into useful projects.
Aidan Luchans, Technology OfficerI use AI to organize my thoughts and turn them into action. It helps me research more effectively, work through problems, explore different approaches, and figure out the steps needed to make things happen. I use it as a tool to strengthen my own thinking and turn what I envision into something I can create, build, or accomplish
Brenda Nguyen, TreasurerI use AI as a thought partner. It's useful for me because it can provide me with contradictory pieces of information which I can then weight with my human intelligence.
Professor Mohammed Al Ani, AdvisorI use AI primarily to be more effective and more efficient in how I deliver my message and how I communicate my point of view. I also use it as a sounding board, to test how my thoughts actually land, not just how they make sense in my own head, but whether the message is clear and well written for the audience that's going to receive it.
